Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie
OK,
I admit it - I am a chocoholic! Of course, double chocolate is Nirvana to
those of us who really love the good stuff. Enjoy this summer treat
for kids and adults alike! |

Ingredients:

4 c. (24 ounce package) nestle toll house semi-sweet
chocolate morsels, divided

2 2/3 c. all purpose flour
-
1 tsp. Baking soda
-
1 tsp. Salt
-
1 c. (2 sticks) of butter or margarine
-
1 c. packed brown sugar
-
1/2 c. granulated sugar
-
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
-
3 eggs

PREHEAT:
preheat
oven to 375 degrees F

MELT:
2
cups
of
morsels in small, heavy duty saucepan over lowest possible heat.
When morsels begin to melt, remove from heat; stir.
Return to heat for a few seconds at a time, stirring until
smooth. Combine flour,
baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.

BEAT:
butter,
brown sugar,granulated sugar and vanilla exract in a large mixer bowl.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in melted chocolate.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in remaining morsels.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onton ungreased baking sheets.
- BAKE:
for
8 to 9 minutes or until cookies are puffed.
Cool for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
